Dropbox Connection not showing preview image? Was it always that way

So…
I may be gaslighting myself here, lol, but I SWEAR that last year when I connected this system up the image previews from DROPBOX showed up here…

but after comparing my implementation to the default example from Uppy… this makes me believe “it was always that way, dropbox never has shown the image previews” [Google Drive shows image previews, but Dropbox not do that]

So… lol… apparently its “working” but, also ‘not the desired outcome’

Any way to get the PREVIEW THUMBNAILS from Dropbox to show up here? Our users need to be able to “see” what they are about to upload…

PS:: this is NOT this issue: AFAIK

Dropbox image thumbnail issue in Chrome

Recently noticed that image thumbnails shown in dashboard after being selected from dropbox appear as broken images in chrome. So… my conclusion here is Google Drive does that, but not Dropbox…

From my research, it seems that Dropbox has never supported thumbnail icons in Uppy in the file list. This is because Dropbox API for list files doesn’t return any thumbnail URL, so there’s no easy way to do that: HTTP - Developers - Dropbox
