Image thiumbnail when loading from url/dropbox/etc

Hello,
If I enter an image from a url or dropbox or google drive (at least, these are the ones I have used) before pressing upload file, I don’t see a thumbnail of the image.
The same behavior happens to your demo pages. Is it something you did deliberately or is it a bug? Is it possible to preview the file before uploading?

Thanks

Hi there. I know this is a late response, but if this issue is still troubling you, I may be able to shed some light on this.

I have no idea why the thumbnails for google drive and Dropbox aren’t loading. Perhaps it’s a network issue. Although, at the time you posted it, it’s very possible that thumbnail support for google drive and Dropbox wasn’t here yet.

For URL based, I don’t know why thumbnails don’t load. There’s a good chance that this was purposeful though.

I hope I helped

I’m also having Dropbox thumbanils not show up, however when uploading, the image does get transferred correctly. Any thoughts?

As you can see from this screenshot, the binary data is getting shown:

Hi there, thank you for reporting this issue.

This is a known issue that will be fixed soon. This behaviour should however not affect file uploads for the time being.

Thanks for your reply. Looking forward to the fix
