"results" empty in response

Hi, I was testing transloadit from an iPhone Xcode project. I was able to send a request to create a thumbnail image, but the response I received differs from the response logged at your site.

The main difference is that the “results” field was empty, e.g. “results = { }”, whereas the “results” field reported at your site for the assembly contains a lot of information.

This is the full response I obtained, versus the one at your site (omitting sensible info).

Response I obtained:

Thanks for your help.

Hi Jose,

the response you get from the iPhone SDK does not have the result yet, because the assembly is still in ASSEMBLY_EXECUTING status.

To get the final response you need to either poll the assembly_url periodically, or you can also add a parameter called blocking: true. That is only recommended for images so, because the connection will stay open until the assembly has completed.

HTH,

I see, I’ll give it a try. Thanks for prompt your assistance!
