Invalid Param for video encode: failed assembly

Hi,

We have this assembly for example: REDACTED that fails because of an invalid param in the video encode robot.

We are using this in the template to use the same video bitrate as the file our customers uploads:

“ffmpeg”: {
“b”: “${file.meta.video_bitrate}”
}

The problem is that some videos do not have this parameter, so your robot fails with this: Unable to parse option value “”
Invalid value ‘’ for option ‘b’

Is there a way we can set a default value if the video does not have this parameter?
If we detect this error in your really big string where all ffmpeg output is, can we retry the same assembly but changing this parameter so it will not fail?

Thanks.

Hi Lucas,

You can use the file/filter bot to avoid some videos going though certain steps. However it’s probably better to just set the sameq parameters so ffmpeg takes care of using the same quality vs you parsing it and explicitly setting it?

Omitting to b could also work.

Kind regards,
Kevin
