The uppy client currently does not support gif editing. Editing and saving a gif without changes will convert the image to a static image. My organization has created a custom internal plugin to support GIF editing, including cropping, resizing, and rotating. We are considering extracting it out in a public custom plugin, but wondering if you already have this work planned on a roadmap.
