Hi,

The following description is taken from the chapter “Import from URL” at Import from URL | Uppy.

When should I use this?
When you want to let users import files any URL.

What do users mean here? I want to upload a file (via its URL) to Google Drive. Am I the user?

Users are you end users, the ones using the Uppy integration on your website. You can’t use that plugin for Google Drive, then you have to use the Google Drive plugin.

Is this function only for website operators, not for private users?
