Hi and happy new year,
We have a problem – none of our assemblies seems to be able to send proper notification: Your application was not yet notified about the results of this assembly.
Or our server has a problem. Not sure, and it’s hard to test. I’ve tried to supply your JSON notification via curl to see if our app can receive it – and it seems to work. I’ve also put up a little hook before our bootstrap code, to log every post request, and I haven’t logged any requests from Transloadit.
So my questions are:
Does anything show up in your log files? Do you receive anyting from our server?
What headers are you sending with your notification request?
I’m a bit out of ideas, but can it be security-related?
We’re looking into this, but if your service responds with an error code we will retry up to 2 hours before giving up and displaying the final error. My initial manual tests against your url seem to indicate that’s not the case so, did you change your code since the start of the assembly?
I noticed that your notify_url uses https and you also have a 302 redirect if no https is used.
When I manually curl it from our servers I am shown that the SSL certificate is invalid. If I open up the notify_url in chrome the https symbol in the address bar is also stroke through.
This could already be the problem. Other than that I could not see a problem in how you set up your notify_url. I also checked the database and made sure your assembly properly picked up the notify_url - it did.
thank you so much – I guess there’s a problem with the certificate. I don’t get any problems in Chrome, but Firefox seems to think it’s invalid as well, so now I’m checking with our providers what we can do.
thank you again for your swift and thorough support, it means a lot!
