Pricing for Using S3 Store Robot Without Transformations

Hi,

I’m using Uppy and Transloadit with the S3 Store robot to store files directly in my S3 bucket, without performing any transformations. I’d like clarification on how pricing works in this case, as it’s not entirely clear to me.

Specifically:
• How is the pricing calculated when no transformations are applied?
• Is the cost based solely on bandwidth (input + output), or are there other charges involved?

For example If I upload 1GB of files to Transloadit and then store them in my S3 bucket using the S3 Store robot, would the total bandwidth usage be 2GB (1GB for the upload + 1GB for the transfer to S3)?

I’d appreciate any details or examples to better understand this.

Hey there,

Thank you for being in touch about this!

Right now uploading without a transformation step costs 10% of the file sizes. Additionally, storing files with the S3 robot would cost 10% of the file sizes. So if you upload a 1GB file, it would 2 * 10% of the file sizes, so 200MB in this case.

Is this helpful?
