Drag & Drop not working in Chrome and Firefox - Files not added

I was doubtful to post it as I though it might be me, but even in the Uppy it does not work. I tried with Chrome 126 and 127 also with Firefox 126-127 and 128. Its working only with Safari 17 or prior.

It seems that sometimes the dataTransfer has no files in it

Update: maybe there is a racing condition as it sometimes works (still testing on uppy’s page) by just holding the file over the area a few secs before dropping it.
