This is a 2 part question, and the scenarios are as such.

i) Form with NO export with jQuery , onResult event is used to extract the url from the result object
Is correct to say that the result object contains a ‘url’ value that will not be stored permanently and therefore I shouldn’t capture that value in my database?

i) Form with export with jQuery , onResult event is used to extract the url from the result object
I need a persistence to the image and have signed up for S3, what should I extract from the return JSON to store in my database for future reference?

Hey dennis,

i) Yes this is correct. The best way to do this is that you still use notifications so that Transloadit notifies you about the final permanently stored url. The onResult handler of the jQuery plugin is simply a means to display the uploaded images to the uploader on the fly.

i) See above. Use notifications and use the “url” key from the results there.

Kind regards,
Tim
