Where is the docs for how to use the notify\_url?

What is passed back to the notify URL?
Can you pass data from the app that will then be sent back to the URL to identify the job?

We are uploading a file from the IOS SDK, and are trying to see how to get the post processes data (mainly the URLS), back into our application.

As far as I understand we either we add the wait parameter, or we need to hit a web end point, but we would need to tell that endpoint which record in the DB to update with the URLs.

any help much appreciated.

regards

m.

Hey Matt,

here you go: [https://transloadit.com/docs#notifications](https://transloadit.com/docs#notifications)

You can set the notify\_url in your template or in your request params. It will then send a response (example: [https://transloadit.com/docs/api-docs#api-responses](https://transloadit.com/docs/api-docs#api-responses) in the example response section) in a field called “transloadit” to that endpoint.

Kind regards,
Tim

Can you pass data through?

So a GUID could be passed with the upload, which is then sent to the response URI?

Regards

Matt.

Yes, you need to include this a key “fields” in your params. They will be passed through to your app.
