Thinking about using Transloadit for a node.js app I’m working on. Is there currently a node client we can use?

Thanks in advance. Kudos on a great service.

No, we don’t have a node client yet. That’s because the node community is still tiny compared to other plattforms, but we’re still a little embarrassed about it : /.

Anyway, are you planning on uploading files directly from your server, or just from the browser? Doing a client-side implementation will be pretty trivial, even without a library.

Hi Felix,

We are wanting to do things server side. Initially we have 1000+ images we need thumbnailed. This would be a one time batch mode effort. Once caught up we would continue to do thumbnailing through the server, but on an as needed basis (prolly 100 week).

I can put something together in node to do this for us. Just wanted to see if you had something behind the scenes.

Is there a special flag to use when processing a large number of thumbnails at the same time? Or do we make each request the same as the examples?

We use curl for our own test suite, and I would probably recommend you to wrap curl for your needs as well. Unfortunately our code is part of the test suite, and can’t really be used as a basis for your needs.

Nope, you can make one request per thumbnail, or combine some / all thumbnails into a single upload. You might want to split them up into batches of 10 however, just in case there is a failure of some sorts in between.

Thanks. Can’t seem to figure out how to do multiple images in one request with variable components.

How would I update this curl syntax to include 10 images in one request?

```auto
curl -F 'params={
        "auth":{"key": "YOUR-API-KEY"},
        "template_id": "de89ee4dbb38455d96fe2wd972ec3211",
        "steps":{
            "import":{
              "url": "http://example.com/1.jpg"
            },
           "s3store":{
           "path" : 'thumbs/' + $dirname + '${file.meta.width}_${file.urlName}'
            }
        }
      }
    }' "http://api2.transloadit.com/assemblies"
```

I think you do:

```auto
curl -F file1=@file1.jpg -F file2=@file2.jpg ...
```
