Does anyone know how to solve the drag-and-drop issue with Google Chrome? Drag and drop will work on other browsers but I can’t seem to find the issue with Chrome.

What is “the drag-and-drop issue”? Have you tried updated all Uppy plugins to their latest versions?

The fact is that Chrome browser crashes on drop file on non-SSL hosts. Test here: [http://nossl.files.gallery/](http://nossl.files.gallery/) Tested in latest Uppy and latest Chrome on both Mac and Windows. Only crashes in Chrome browser. Only non-SSL. Although one could argue “just use SSL”, this just isn’t the case for apps that may be published on localhost or other private e…

Facing the same issue, and would like to “turn off” the drag & drop functionality on the `Dashboard` component (just browse the files instead of drag&drop).

How to turn off the drag & drop for the “Dashboard” component?

Unfortunately that’s not possible, but that issue has been fixed and the fix will be included in the next release. see: [https://github.com/transloadit/uppy/pull/4310](https://github.com/transloadit/uppy/pull/4310)

Is there any possibility you would be able to cut a patch release with just that one fix included? Our project is dependent on Uppy working without crashes, and this fix would enable a better experience for many of our users who use Chrome.

Thank you for your work on Uppy, and for considering this request!
